Notify Technologies, a Newcastle upon Tyne, UK-based company providing a safety, health, environmental and quality (SHEQ) management system, raised £1.5M in funding.
Backers included Calculus Capital, the North East Venture Fund, supported by the European Regional Development Fund and managed by Mercia Ventures, and private investors.
The company intends to use the funds to further enhance its platform with the addition of new AI-powered features and to step up its sales and marketing activities.
Led by CEO Duncan Davies, Notify provides a platform that enables businesses to digitally record accidents and near misses, complete audits, inspections and risk assessments, manage safety documents and analyse safety data, from one central location.
The platform has been adopted by many high-profile clients including Wickes, Travis Perkins and Menzies Distribution and has over 250,000 users worldwide.
